Isn't that something??? I am sitting here at work and cannot for the life of me think of the brand of tea cup I have sitting on my counter at home. It's my favorite for pity sakes!!!!! Is it ""bone"" china that you can almost see through??? That's what this one is. I can't believe my brain is stuck---will have to look when I go home at noon today!!!! Anyway---my favorite teacup is like an ""old friend"". Kind of like it knows me. Just right for my hand, not too heavy, not too light, keeps the tea hot for quite awhile and forgives me if I leave it sit with tea slop. I guess my teacup is a ""dear old"" friend and very forgiving!!!! :D;

Checked my cup bottom last night when I got home. It is a Rosenthal---and I thought--duh! Why can't I remember stuff anymore!!! It's pretty cup--it just has a few small tiny flowers scattered around on it. A couple tiny roses, a couple pansies and some blue flowers--maybe forget-me-nots--I'm not sure. But I just love the feel of the cup! I have no idea what the pattern is called. I would love to know.

Sounds like a nice cup.
Right now I dont have favorite cup, but we do have a pair of cups that we have been using fairly regularly lately. They are a couple of baby blue Azurite Cups, they are a little translucent, they look delicate but feel rather sturdy. The tea stays nice and hot long enough to talk, sip and snack.
Some day we are going to try and pick up some more and some matching accessories, thank goodness for ebay.
