Fortunately for me, I have always done what my old granny advised. I leave the teapot on the kitchen bench when I have finished, with the tea leaves still in the pot.
This morning, I stupidly spilt boiling water on my arm as I was filling up a hot water bottle (don't ask) So I grabbed the teapot and tipped last night's leaves on my arm
